Standard warranty

Avery Dennison® Barcode Product Limited Warranty

Thank you for purchasing a Monarch®-brand barcode product. Avery Dennison warrants that your product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment by Avery Dennison. Please read this warranty very carefully. THIS WARRANTY IS A LIMITED WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

 

Warranty Guidelines

  • A warranty shall be granted for a period of 12 months for Avery Dennison printers and parts there of to the extent that all parts which no longer function shall be replaced free of charge, subject to proof that such malfunction is due to defects in material, design or assembly.

  • No warranty shall be provided for parts subject to wear and tear, namely those prone to natural deterioration. Nor shall this warranty cover repairs necessary as a result of improper handling, interference or use of inappropriate accessories or labels.

  • Replacement free of charge shall be limited to parts to be exchanged, including the necessary repair time. Warranty can be claimed for spare parts (except wearing parts) at the OEM or SaleCo where the products have been purchased.

  • The printers shall be sent (freight paid) to our Eching works or the relevant branch office. Following repair, Avery Dennison shall return the printer (freight paid) to the customer.

  • Warranty responsibility lies solely with the party that brings the product to the market.

  • Partners are responsible for the warranty towards their customers in the case that they have brought the product to the market.

  • The costs incurred for service on-site such as travel and labor costs have to be covered by the requesting party. Alternatively, the products can also be sent back to the seller for warranty repair.

  • Partners can claim only spare parts from Avery Dennison OEM/SaleCo subject to proof that such malfunction is due to defects in material, design or assembly.

  • Partners can optionally send the products back to the OEM/SaleCo for warranty repair.

  • If an Avery Dennison SaleCo hands over the product for service to another SaleCo or Partner, then the cost of warranty has to be covered by the Avery Dennison Saleco who had handed over the product.

  • Optionally, the affected SaleCo or Partner can send the product back to OEM/SaleCo for warranty repairs.

  • If an Avery Dennison SaleCo sells products to a Partner/Reseller who then subsequently sell them to another customer, then the warranty is the responsibility of the Partner/Reseller.
