Printer Drivers

To install the drivers for Nice Label SE software, click this link - NiceLabelSE_v5.2.3_(Build_4024)_B.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.

USB drivers are available for a variety of operating systems.

The Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers cause the M98XX to connect to the Operating System and will be visible as a Standard RS232 COM port.

Please run the CDM 2.08.14 exe file. When it completes you may then connect a USB cable to the 98XX printer. Windows will detect the printer and complete the installation attaching it to a Virtual Com Port.

For additional information regarding how to determine which Com Port was assigned - Please view the Readme CDM 2.08.14.doc.

• If previous versions of the Virtual Com Port drivers have been installed please run FTDI's CDM Uninstall utility to clean up the older FTDI drivers.
